Something I Haven’t Done in a While

Today I did something I have not done in a long time. I ran on the treadmill. I just wanted to get a few miles in today (I’m respecting the taper!), but by the time I could get to it, it was dark and raining.

I wish I could say that I like running on the treadmill, but I don’t. Not at all. My form feels all weird, and it’s just boring, and it feels like it takes more effort than running outside. I figured I could at least get two miles done, and if it was so terrible, I could be done at that. I tuned into Grey’s Anatomy and hoped that the time would go by quickly.

I managed to get 3 miles finished and called it a day.

In other randomness, if you haven’t tried this deliciousness you are really missing out.

(Also, I will never again do my Trader Joe’s run on a Saturday. Holy Cow.)

Sunday- 8 mile run
Monday- Pilates workout
Tuesday- Yasso 800′s x 10 (1 mile warm up and 1 1/2 mile cool down for 10 miles)
Wednesday- Rest
Thursday- 14 mile run
Friday- Rest
Saturday- Pilates workout and 3 mile treadmill run
